Office Manager

I began working with Dr. Major in December of 1991. I had recently married my husband, Greg, and had moved to Chattanooga from Helen, Georgia. Knowing very little about dentistry, I quickly began attending all the continuing education courses I could, while also completing my college degree in business administration. I knew right away that this was going to be a career for me. Throughout the years I have loved working with such talented, compassionate professionals who are like family to me. Along with our state-of-the-art equipment, advanced training and techniques, it is our team’s passion to provide patient care and comfort that creates the atmosphere our patients enjoy. In my spare time, I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and spending time with my family.

Kimberly

Hygiene Coordinator

My name is Kimberly, and I have been blessed to be a part of the Chattanooga Dental Care team since 2004 (which, by the way, is the best Dental office in Chattanooga!) My family and friends are my heart and life. I am an energetic, enthusiastic morning person who is passionate about our patients. Life is good and our patients help to keep things interesting, fun and each day unique.

Scheduling Coordinator

I am the newest member of this awesome team! I have been in the dental field for 20 years, from assisting in both adult and pediatric practices to working the front desk. My fiancé and I moved to Chattanooga three years ago. I have two wonderful children. I am so excited to grow with such an amazing office!

Hygienist

I have been in dentistry since 1989, and have been blessed to work with Dr. Major since 1999. I have received extensive training in all areas of dentistry, which helps me be a better dental hygienist. I really enjoy being part of an awesome team and working with our patients. When not working, I love spending time with my friends and family.

Hygienist

I have had the pleasure of working at Chattanooga Dental Care for several years. I received my dental hygiene degree at East Tennessee State University. I enjoy my position at Chattanooga Dental Care because I have the opportunity of meeting new people every day. My goal as a dental hygienist is to provide the highest quality dental care by accurately assessing the needs of my patients and educating them on their treatment options.

I began my dental career in 1984 as a dental assistant. In 1993, I received my dental hygiene degree. I enjoy working with patients and getting to know them. My goal as a dental hygienist is to educate them about their oral health and help them with their dental needs. I am very blessed to work with such a skilled and dedicated group of people. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Dental Assistant

I have been a dental assistant for over 35 years, and have worked at Chattanooga Dental Care since 1994. My biggest joy is the time I spend with my patients – getting to know them! We have the best staff, and consider ourselves a family! Having the best doctor to work for doesn’t hurt!

Dental Assistant

I began my career as a dental assistant over 26 years ago, and have had the pleasure of assisting Dr. Major since 2013. It is exciting to be a team member at a practice that is focused on continued education for both the staff and our patients. Educating our patients and helping them improve their dental health has been personally rewarding to me. Outside the office, I enjoy traveling, golfing, bicycling, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Dental Assistant

I began working with Dr. Major as a dental assistant in May of 2018. I did my interns for school at the office and he hired me on through school. Coming into the office I saw how nice, caring, and giving the staff was, which made me want to be a part of the team. Dr. Hernandez came into the office not to long after, I then began working with him. I am lucky I get the chance to work with both dentist and they are incredible. The way they care for their patients and staff is something I have never seen or got to experience in the dental field. I am very lucky to have such great patients as well! I love getting to know my patients and always look forward to seeing them back! Outside the office, I enjoy being active, camping, hiking, and being with my family and friends.

I graduated from Chattanooga State and began my dental assisting career in 2018. When I started working at Chattanooga Dental Care I knew right away that this was the office for me! It is such an awesome group of people to work with. Outside the office, I enjoy reading, time at the lake, and camping with my husband Wade and family.

Dental Assistant

I started at Chattanooga Dental Care as an extern from Chattanooga State Community College’s Dental Assisting Program. Shortly after graduating, CDC hired me on as a full-time team member. I have had the privilege of working alongside Dr. VanDenburgh and Dr. Hernandez, both are excellent doctors and have a wealth of knowledge. I love our family at Chattanooga Dental Care, from day one they all made me feel welcome and a part of their team. Not only do we treat each other like family, we do our best to treat our patients the same way. It brings me so much joy, getting to know every patient and being a part of their oral health care journey. 

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and family, doing DIY home projects, working out, traveling anywhere, attending concerts/comedy shows and loving on my and anyone else’s fur babies.
